Rate My Hair is a marketplace where hairdressers and salons can create profiles to showcase their skills, services, portfolios, and more. Visitors can browse profiles, vote (rate), and help discover the best hairdressers and salons.

You’ll create an account, submit your information, upload images to your portfolio, specify services and pricing, and optionally publish your hair transformations that clients or fans can vote on or leave feedback on.

Registration is free and includes a 7-day trial with full visibility.

After the trial, you can choose a membership plan to keep your profile active and visible on the marketplace.

Premium members receive extended visibility on the marketplace, a verified professional badge, priority placement in listings (where applicable), and the ability to upload unlimited transformations and portfolio content.

Visitors can leave ratings and written comments on profiles.

Votes and comments cannot be edited or removed by users and are moderated by marketplace administrators to ensure fair use.

Visitors can find you by searching by region, style, specialty, rating, or services. Premium members may receive promotional boosts, such as featured listings. Hairdressers and salons will have visible contact information on their profiles. Phone numbers and email addresses will be protected from bots and fake users.

You can contact our support team via email or through the helpdesk system inside your account. We also plan to offer a knowledge base and resources section with helpful guides.

If you only want to vote, register as a visitor user, browse hairdresser or salon profiles, and if you like one, click “vote” (or “rate”) on their profile. Votes help rank stylists within their region or category.

Yes, we have comment and review sections where visitors and registered users can share feedback or testimonials. Comments must be approved by the admin before they are published.

Ratings and comments are publicly visible on profiles. Votes are anonymous, while usernames are shown only on comments. All activity is monitored by administrators to prevent misuse.
